In the spring of 2023, I had my first bike, a recently ended relationship, and not a single girlfriend to ride gravel with. I only knew guys with bikes, and riding with them was becoming more and more difficult — so I needed to find some girlfriends.

Long story short — one evening, I started a group chat with my friends, called it BIKE&WINE, and asked them to invite their friends who had gravel bikes. That’s how the social rides were born. Truth be told, there were only four of us at the first one. But now, in 2025, our Thursday social rides gather between 30 and 50 gravel girls.

It’s hard to believe — it feels like just recently I discovered the bike, got to know the gravel world, made my first riding friends, and today the city is full of GRAVELINDOS. Girls are joining the BIKE&WINE social rides, finding new friends, asking questions, sharing advice, dressing up in GRAVELINDOS merch, and diving deep into the gravel cycling world.

I can’t hide the joy of what we’ve created — and what we continue to build together. This is just the beginning.
